We maintain a client base of 1800 customers from both public and private sector industries across the UK. These range from multinationals to government agencies and small local businesses.

Time Lines
1974
- Burlington’s started as a bespoke tailoring uniform company in Carnaby Street in the heart of London’s West End. Its marketplace was London’s world-class hotels, where it provided specialist front-of-house tailoring. Its clients included The Ritz Hotel, Claridges and The Hilton Hotel.
1981
- The Company moved to the world famous tailoring street Savile Row, where it shared the premises with, and worked alongside, some of the most talented and skilled tailors in the world.
1987
- A second relocation as Burlington’s expanded into its new Head Office location in City Road in the heart of London, where it remains today.
1989
- Purchased ‘HB Goodman Supplies’ who specialised in contract work for healthcare services like the St John’s Ambulance, thus strengthening our position in the marketplace.
1993
- Set up Contracts division to specialise in Tendering and Contract Work to obtain higher profile clients.
1998
- Acquired 31,000 sq. feet of warehouse capability in Port Talbot that now acts as its production centre and distribution hub serving the whole of the UK.
- Marked the launch of Burlington’s first comprehensive One-Stop-Shop Catalogue.
2003
- Established links with offshore production partners to cater for larger contracts.
2005
- Invested in new IT infrastructure to handle and develop on-line ordering and order tracking.
2006/7
- A busy and progressive year as three new brochures are launched with a total of over 200 pages; the biggest catalogue collection to date. The second new brochure reflects a wide expansion into workwear supply and, in particular, the healthcare and catering sectors. The Company’s new market-leading website containing details of over 900 stocked garments is also launched
2008
- Yet another brochure is launched and there is further improvement to the company’s website with on-line ordering becoming available to clients. This has proved a valuable service for those requiring one-off purchases, or account customers wishing to replace or renew uniform, or potential special contract clients wishing to sample our production.
